On Sept. 14th, the First China Pharmaceutical CDMO Industry Development Summit Forum (Hefei) hosted by Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry Alliance and organized by our company was solemnly opened under the guidance of Anhui Medical Products Administration, ACFIC Medical and Pharmaceutical Chamber and China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicine & Health Products (CCCM HPIE).
Wu Lihua, Party Secretary and Director General of Anhui Medical Products Administration, Jin Weijia, Party Secretary and Director General of Anhui Medical Insurance Administration, Bao Jianjun, Deputy Secretary General of Hefei Municipal Government, Tan Shengcai, Vice Chairman of CCCM HPIE, Lv Donghong, Technical Deputy Director of ACFIC Medicine and Pharmaceutical Chamber attended and addressed the meeting. It focuses on the development and future of China’s CDMO industry, aims to gather consensus on innovation and development and jointly build a new platform for cooperation and exchange.
The chairman of our company, Gao Yu, as the chairman of Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry Alliance, expressed his sincere thanks to the attending leaders and guests in the opening speech, and stressed that with the entry-into-force of new Drug Administration Law, Anhui Medical Products Administration has been keenly aware that preemptive deployment of the preparation CDMO industry is an important way to respond to the drug MAH system and to promote the overtaking of the pharmaceutical industry in our province.
Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry Alliance is committed to providing superior services to MAHs nationwide, provincial industrial chain enterprises, academic research institutions and regulatory authorities based on the principle of enhancing industry self-discipline and promoting industry development to achieve the purpose of promoting the development of the preparation CDMO industry in our province.
As the first chairman of Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry Alliance, Gao Yu also stated that he will organize and carry out the work of the alliance well, and strive to build the alliance into an industry organization with important influence and credibility in China in about 5 years.
Lv Donghong, Technical Deputy Director of ACFIC Medicine and Pharmaceutical Chamber, believes that the implementation of China’s MAH system has effectively driven the development of CDMO industry. However, nowadays the international situation is becoming more complex and changeable, and the domestic economic development is facing the triple pressure of demand contraction, supply shock and weakening expectation.
Wu Lihua, Party Secretary and Director General of Anhui Medical Products Administration, pointed out in her speech that the innovation and development of the pharmaceutical industry is related to people’s health and national security, as well as the overall economic and social development. In recent years, Anhui Medical Products Administration has always adhered to “serving in supervision” and will encourage innovation and development throughout the whole supervision process.
After the leaders’ speech, the launching ceremony of Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry integrated service platform was officially started. A total of 11 persons including Director General Wu Lihua, Director General Jin Weijia, Deputy Secretary General Bao Jianjun, Vice Chairman Tan Shengcai, Deputy Director Lv Donghong, Academician Zhang Dan as well as the staff from chairman unit and vice chairman unit of Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry Alliance jointly launched the Anhui Preparation CDMO Industry integrated service platform.
